 International Exchange Saloon Group
 

Come and join us to enjoy yourselves in our events of international exchanges suchas cooking and music.
The schedule will be shown in a timely manner for your participation.

Foreign Language Learning Group　　Let's study foreign language together !
Why do we learn foreign language?
Because language is one of the important factors of understanding each other.
And we would find through learning that each language, the tool for intercultural communication,
is influenced by its cultural background.

Let's study foreign language together !
And enjoy another culture!
We have 18 classes : English , Spanish, Korean, Chinese

Foreign Residents Support Group ：We support you in English!
   We have been supporting the foreign residents mostly
by means of translations and interpretations.
One of our group’s main activities is to provide you
with the info/tips on your daily-life in Nagareyama.
Some of them are available right here at your finger-tips.

Japanese Language Group　　Join  us!! 　Let’s speak Japanese
「 a,  i ,  u ,  e ,  o 」
「あ、い、う、え、お」　「ア、イ、ウ、エ、オ」
Let’s practice  ” kanji”    「見る」see,   「聞く」listen,  「行く」go,  「来る」come.
We teach Japanese language according to each student’s ability.
Both for people who have lived in Japan for long time and who have just arrived in Japan.
Let’s study and enjoy together!!!
 

Cultural Exchange Group　International Cross-cultural Communication
  We have been working for the purpose of deepening and extending the mutual understandings and friendships among the foreign and Japanese residents
in Nagareyama. In order to fulfill this purpose , we have been offering the following classes and lessons.
①World Harmony Chorus :
　　Featuring the songs from all over the world and
　 　singing those in the original languages.
② Chinese Martial Arts and Martial Arts-based
　　Dance, Mokuransen.                                 

Homestay Group　　We  accept  students from all over the world.
Nagareyama International Friendship Association accepts high school and university students from abroad for a short or a long term.
Homestay department, which is one of the departments in NIFA, accepts foreigners as a member of the family for a few days or few weeks.

It will be a precious homestay experience and is sure to become one of the best memories for a lifetime for both their guests from overseas and host families.

Public Relations Group
    We have been responsible for the publish of our quarterly News Letter “NIFANews” and “Annual Report” to publicize the activities of the working groups to the NIFA members and other people concerned.
To make our reports moreaccurate and more enjoyable, our staff never fail in attending any NIFA’s events.
We are also responsible for the Personal Computer Class to help the NIFA member’computer skill up.
